If the possibilities we wish to attract in our work, business and life are truly limitless, then why do so many people feel limitation? Let’s put this another way. If we agree that each of us creates our individual reality at work and in every area of our lives, then we have chosen to manifest our current experiences from an endless number of possibilities. So, if we perceive limitation or lack in our business or life, then … logic would lead us to conclude that we chose lack and limitation rather than expansive potential and infinite abundance.
Why would we choose limitation over ever-expanding potential? Although individual answers differ somewhat, I believe the answer lies in our mastery of self-leadership. By that I mean, the ability to understand and take full accountability for our desired outcomes in business and in our personal lives. To do this, we must first be aware that we may be unconsciously creating experiences in our lives that we do not want. Some people don’t want to hear this. Instead they prefer to blame others or let fate decide their outcomes. When this is done, we give up our personal power and become victims. But…when we take responsibility for consciously creating ourselves … when we see ourselves for who we truly are, as masters of our own destinies … then we exercise our full power. This realization is truly liberating, but it can also be scary. So, courage is an attribute to call upon as you reclaim your personal power.
YOU have the power to be, to do and to create absolutely anything you want to experience. You create your reality with your thoughts, so choose to do so consciously and deliberately. I say this often because I have seen it at work in my own life and …it is the truth that has been spoken by every great master in human history. Across borders and through great expanses of time and physical localities, the great scholars and the enlightened ones among us have consistently said this. Perhaps the words were different, but the meaning is the same. You are worthy of a masterpiece for which there are no words. So, by all means paint a masterpiece - one that reflects your unique definition of success. To borrow a popular tag line… “accept no imitations” … especially when it comes to creating your personal and professional life. Start by knowing exactly what it is you want. For without clarity about what gives you purpose, that is, what feeds your spirit, you will be in the precarious position of allowing others to define your dreams. Make the commitment, believe in the unlimited potential that you are and move deliberately and boldly into the direction of your choosing. To your amazing adventure!
