team work shiloette.jpgAre your employees actively engaged in the daily operations of your company? Do they enthusiastically participate in activities that help you improve customer relationships, processes and your profitability? Do they enthusiastically participate in activities that help you improve customer relationships, processes and your profitability? If not, consider this question – what are doing to inspire your team to help your organization succeed?

When it comes to employee motivation, I can not overstate the importance of building meaningful relationships with your employees and the managers that lead your team.

When we build meaningful relationships with team members, we inspire and motivate others to become active participants. Work takes on more significance, and people begin to view their work as more than just a way to earn a living.

Meaningful relationships are those human interactions that nourish our spirit. They build up our self esteem, and help us feel good about being part of a community, family or team. In meaningful relationships, we support one another, and help one another grow. We openly share ideas, and feel valued and appreciated.

The next basic human need, just above survival, is our hunger to feel needed and appreciated.  If you want to make a profound difference in the level of enthusiasm in your organization, then let your actions be guided by that one statement. Consider your policies and actions. Do they consistently communicate that you value input and are sincerely grateful for contributions, or do your policies treat adults like children?

If you want to expand your bottom line, then make decisions that support meaningful workplace relationships. *** Let your actions and decisions be guided by respect, value and appreciation.***

When you do this consistently, you’ll spark an amazing transformation in your workplace. You will see:  productivity soar, operating expenses shrink, and people feeling good about coming to work everyday. Of course, this newfound commitment and enthusiasm will naturally help you attract and retain more of your ideal customers.

You can make a significant difference on your bottom line when you make it a practice to feed the spirit first!

  To your unlimited potential!
